Donplast ESX is a chloride free, premium quality concentrated plasticizing admixture based on polycarboxylic polymers with selective additives which are specially formulated for use in the production of concrete block, concrete, pipe and other low slump concrete products where a smooth, tight surface is preferred.
Donplast ESX can significantly assist in the production of more uniform and consistent quality concrete products.
Donplast ESX is suitable for use in all zero or low slump concrete such as:
- Dry cast concrete.
- Concrete pavers, patio products.
- Concrete blocks and bricks.
- Concrete roofing tiles.
- Dry-Cast concrete pipes.
Donplast ESX is available in 5 gal (19 litre) containers as well as 275 gal (1,041 litre) IBC totes. Bulk supply in tanker trucks is also available upon request.
The recommended dosage of the prepared solution is of 2 - 32 fl oz/ 100 lb (130 - 2086 mL/100 kg) of cement or cementitious materials in the mix including GGBFS, PFA or micro-silica.
Dosage is highly dependent on the agreed mix design and dilution rates.
Representative trials should be first conducted to determine the optimum dosage of Donplast ESX to meet the performance requirements by using the materials and conditions in actual use.
