Highly polymer modified cementitious tile and stone adhesive for wet and submerged areas

Cemfix W is a single component cementitious tile adhesive consists of blend of cement, well graded aggregate, high content of polymers and special additives which when mixed with water provides a high performance tile adhesive with excellent water resistance characteristics.

Cemfix W is specially designed for bonding all types of ceramic tiles, porcelain and natural stone in wet areas or submerged conditions, such as swimming pools, potable water tanks and fountains.

Candidatures

Suitable with underfloor heating systems.
Suitable for fixing large format tiles.
On concrete and cement based mortar, screed and plaster.
On drywall such as gypsum boards and plaster boards.

Packaging

Cemfix W is available in 5 and 25 kg bags.

Storage

Cemfix W has a shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture if stored at temperatures between 2°C and 50°C.

Yield

Approximately 6.3 m² per 25 kg bag @ 3 mm thickness.

Standards

Cemfix W complies with the following standards:

IS 15477, as Type II Adhesive.
ISO 13007-1 and BS EN 12004 as an improved cementitious tile adhesive with slip resistance and extended open time characteristics (C2TE).
ANSI A118.4 for shear strength requirements.
