Donplast AC500
Hardening accelerator admixture
Donplast AC500 is a multi-component concrete additive in liquid form for producing high quality concrete at very low temperatures. Donplast AC500 is chloride free. Donplast AC500 promotes early strength development without negatively influencing final strengths.
Donplast AC500 provides for the following:
- Increased frost resistance.
- Improved early and long term strengths.
- Chloride free - does not attack reinforcement.
Donplast AC500 is recommended for use in conditions such as:
- Precast concrete.
- Concrete casting at low temperatures.
- Expected overnight frost.
- Early concrete strength requirements.
- High strength concrete.
Donplast AC500 is available in 25 litre pails, 210 litre drums, and 1000 litre bulks supply.
Store in dry conditions. Donplast AC500 has a minimum shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture if stored properly in its original unopened packing.
Dosage of Donplast AC500 will vary depending on cement content and outside temperature. Required dosage should be determined for each case.
Typical dosage is between 1 - 2% of cement content. Dosages outside the typical range given above may be used to meet particular requirements.
Donplast AC500 complies with the following specifications:
- EN 934-2.
- BS 5075.
- ASTM C494, Type C.
