Trowelite is a mortar admixture that improves the workability, cohesion and improves resistance to freeze/thaw cycles, by entraining a controlled quantity of air to the mortar mix.

Trowelite is recommended for sand cement mortars to improve workability, surface fi nish and freeze/thaw cycle resistance properties.
Trowelite is available in 5, 20, 50 and 100 litre containers.
Trowelite has a shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture if stored at temperatures below 50°C.
Trowelite is supplied in liquid form and should be added directly to the mortar mix at the rate of 100 - 300 ml per 50 kg of cement, depending upon sand used and consistency required.
Trowelite complies with BS 4887: Mortar Plas cisers and EN 934-3.
