Cognizant headquarters in Cochin, India

Cognizant, a U.S-headquartered company, specialising in information technology (IT) solutions, consulting, and business process outsourcing (BPO) services, decided to expand its operations into Cochin, India.

The project has different grades of concrete requirements for different stages of building through the structure; post tensioned slabs & columns with grade M45 and for piling grade M30 was required, with its unique design of post tensioned slabs, columns and piles to achieve the required properties of fresh and hardened concrete properties, this was quite a challenge to the concrete contractor and ready-mix plant.

Concrete quantity was 250,000 cubic meter with different dosages of Supaflo PC711 and Supaflo Special to meet different requirements of building stages and weather conditions regarding retention and specified grade.

In order to achieve the different grades of concrete with different placing conditions DCP’s technical team had done extensive trials to match the requirement of 90 minutes retention & getting the target strength in 7 & 28 days. Our R&D team was able to achieve that through different products like Cempatch HM, FIo-Add1, Quickmast 108, Supaflo PC 711 and Supaflo Special. 

Our customer was satisfied with the service provided by DCP and performance of the products as they have provided the intended requirements.
