Task at Hand

DLF is India's largest real estate company in terms of revenues, earnings, market capitalisation and developed areas. In line with its current expansion plans, DLF has over than 68 million square meters.

DLF decided to initiate a housing project in Egmore with high standards in terms of luxury and prestigious accommodation. The project massive structural elements of slabs, columns and bearing walls were designed using concrete grades of M35 and M25 with high slump retention of up to 2 hours. This accounted for a total concrete volume of 17,000 cubic meters.

DCP Solution

In order to achieve the different concrete grades requirements, DCP technical team conducted extensive trials and provided the client with a high range water reducing admixture based on SNF with different dosages to provide the required concrete grades and slump retention.

Concrete mix designs provided by DCP were approved by the client and supply was made for the total project. In addition to the admixtures, cementitious grouts and mould release agent were also supplied to the project.
