Flocrete Antifreeze A
Water reducing and antifreeze admixture
Flocrete Antifreeze A is a concrete admixture in liquid form for producing concrete where temperatures are expected to go below freezing.
Flocrete Antifreeze A provides the following properties:
- Improved workability without increased water.
- Reduction in water without loss of workability.
- Increased frost resistance.
- Improved strengths.
- Chloride free - does not attack reinforcement.
Flocrete Antifreeze A is suitable for use in cold conditions such as:
- Slight daytime frost.
- Expected overnight frost.
- Expected cold period.
Flocrete Antifreeze A is available in 25 litres pails, 210 litres drums and 1000 litres bulks supply.
Store in dry conditions. Flocrete Antifreeze A has a minimum shelf life of 12 months if stored properly in its original unopened packing.
Dose at a rate of 1 – 2 kg/ 100 kg cement.
Exact quantity is determined by external temperature.
Dosages outside the typical ranges quoted above can be used to meet particular requirements.
Flocrete Antifreeze A complies with the following specifications:
- EN934-2.
- BS5075.
- ASTM C494, Type C and E.
