Highcoat Primer
High performance silicate based primer
Highcoat Primer is a water-based silicate primer specially formulated to be used in conjunction with Highcoat and other emulsion paints at indoor areas. Highcoat Primer is ideally suitable to treat highly porous substrates prior to the application of final paints on vertical and overhead surfaces.

- High hiding power (i.e. opacity) characteristics, therefore, it can reduce the needed consumption of the overcoating paints.

Highcoat Primer is designed to act as a primer over smooth and highly absorbent substrates such as cement plasters, drywalls, hollow blocks and other substrates prior to the application of final paints in order to improve the adhesion characteristics as well as reduce the needed consumption of the overcoating material on these kinds of surfaces at indoor areas.
Approximately 4 - 6 m2/ kg per coat to achieve a total of 30 - 40 micron DFT. The actual consumption depends on the porosity of the substrate.
Highcoat Primer is available in 20 kg plastic buckets, other packaging sizes can be available upon request.
Highcoat Primer has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacturing if stored in a shaded place at a temperature of 30°C in original unopened packaging.
