Cem-Add SB

Polymeric liquid additive and performance enhancer for cementitious adhesives and plasters

Cem-Add SB is a single component polymeric liquid that is designed to improve the performance and the physical properties of the cementitious adhesives and plasters. Due to its unique composition, mixing Cem-Add SB with Cemfix, Thermofix and Proplast range of products will significantly enhance the physical characteristics of these products without any adverse effects on the application and the workability of them.

  • Effectively increases the bonding/adhesion of cementitious adhesives and plasters.

Cem-Add SB is ideally designed for use in the following applications:

  • As an additive to Cemfix range of tile adhesives where enhanced bonding to various substrates is required.
  • As an additive to Thermofix range of external wall insulation plasters in order to enhance the bonding characteristics.
  • To enhance the performance of the Proplast range of cementitious leveling plasters.
  • As a primer for absorbent surfaces.
  • As an additive for permanent installation of large format tiles (e.g. above 40 x 40 cm).
  • As an additive for permanent installation of impervious tiles in continuously submerged areas (e.g. swimming pools and fountains).

Cem-Add SB is available in 5, 25 and 200 litres drums.

Cem-Add SB shelf life is 12 months if stored at temperatures between 5°C and 50°C.

Cem-Add SB complies with ASTM C1059-99, Type 1 & 2, when tested in accordance with test method C1042.
