The company is looking to recruit a Product Manager at the Head Office in Amman, Jordan.
Position Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Product Manager to join our team. The Product Manager will play a crucial role in achieving a balanced and commercially viable product range while providing effective marketing support. This position involves continuous product range assessment, research and development proposal creation, market analysis, competitor research, and coordination of testing and development projects. Responsibilities:
1. Product Range Management:
- Continuously monitor and assess the product range through planned research and data coordination from internal and external sources.
- Recommend actions to maintain a balanced and commercially viable product portfolio.
2. Product Development:
- Research product development concepts and create detailed, costed development proposals.
- Submit development proposals through established procedures and act as the coordinator for specific projects.
3. Market Analysis:
- Evaluate in-house and external studies related to materials, methods, and trends within relevant market areas.
- Undertake competitor and market research projects in coordination with operating companies' market potential and goals.
4. Testing and Development:
- Initiate and direct testing/development requests (TSRs) in response to sales demands or to meet established standards.
- Follow up with R&D team leaders regarding active projects.
5. Product Performance Verification:
- Test and verify the actual performance of new or modified products.
- Arrange field tests with applicators to gather practical feedback.
6. Product Launch and Communication:
- Follow up with operating companies regarding newly developed or modified products.
- Internally launch products within the company and share R&D achievements with operating companies.
7. R&D Newsletter:
- Prepare and deliver R&D newsletter presentations to keep stakeholders informed about research and development updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- years of experience in product management or related roles.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in market analysis and competitor research.
- Ability to coordinate and manage development projects effectively.
