Task at Hand
The main contractor for the Islamic University contacted DCP for help in choosing products that will create a waterproofing system for the floor in their open playground.

DCP SOLUTION
In order to achieve waterproofed floors in the Islamic University opened playgrounds, before protection and tilling, DCP created a solution that required the use of different products and techniques.
First, to repair the concrete, DCP suggested the use of Flo-Grout 2 and bonding agents Cempatch AB and Quickmast 108 for drainage and electrical points. For concrete skirting at the edges, DCP added Cempatch SBR100 and fibres to concrete mix and bonding agent Cempatch AB. To address the expansion joints, polyurethane primer and mastic, Flexseal PU Primer and Flexseal PU440, were used. For the waterproofing systems for the floors, DCP used three coats of polyurethane liquid membrane, Aquathane R200, at the rate of 1.6 kg/m2.
