Arvind Mills - Flooring solutions

Arvind Limited (formerly Arvind Mills), a leading textile brand, was looking for some good solutions for their shop floor production area. Most textile mills undergo periodical maintenance activity for several reasons. In most of the textile mills,shop floor areas get a lot of fibre deposition, yarn wastage, and fabric selvedges. In addition, there is always trolley movement happening over the surface which really demands periodic floor maintenance after a certain time period. As a result of this, mill officials were looking for some good flooring solutions to address these issues from a leadingbrand in the market. DCP approached them with a full-proof, durable, and aesthetically pleasing flooring system for their shop floor area. Arvind Mills officials were pleased with the solution offered and decided to hire DCP to work on the area of approximately 3000 square meters.

Considering the various demands of the floor area in terms of durability, abrasion resistance, variousproduction related floor depositions, and aesthetic requirements, DCP offered ArvindMills a full-proof technical solution by givingthem a floor system of 3 mm thickness that comprises of epoxy primer coat of approximately 80 to 100 microns OFT, 2 mm epoxy underlay Strongcoat EU500, followed by 1 mm self levelling epoxy top coat of Strongcoat SL1 as per the required colour, tinted at site level to match the exact colour requirement.
