Aquathane WB
One component, water based polyurethane liquid membrane for waterproofing and protection
Aquathane WB is a one component, water based, environmentally friendly, liquid applied, modified polyurethane flexible coating, specially formulated based on elastomeric hydrophobic resin.
Aquathane WB produces a tough, rubber – like, seamless finish with excellent elasticity and excellent adhesion to concrete substrates both vertically and horizontally

- Forms a highly elastomeric, tough and resilient membrane.
- Environmentally friendly, free from solvents, tar, bitumen or any hazardous substance.
- Low VOC content.
- Excellent UV Resistance.
- One component – ready to use.
- High tensile strength and elongation.
- Crack bridging capabilities.
- Good chemical resistance.
- The white colour reflects much of the solar energy reducing the internal temperature of the building.
Waterproofing and protection of:
- Exposed roofs, balconies and decks.
- Wet areas, kitchens and bathrooms (under tiles).
- Basements and retaining walls.
- Bridge platforms.
- Internal and external applications.
- For concrete, wood, metal, gypsum boards, etc.
- Over bituminous waterproofing membranes.
- First coat: 1.00 - 1.25 kg/m².
- Second coat: 1.00 - 1.25 kg/m².
- Total consumption: 2.0 - 2.5 kg/m², to give approximately 1 mm dry film thickness.
Third coat can be applied if needed.
Aquathane WB is available in 20 kg buckets.
Aquathane WB has a shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture if stored in the original unopened pails at temperatures between 5oC and 35oC.
Conforms to the requirements of LEED EQ Credit 4.2: Low - Emitting Materials: Paints & Coatings: VOC < 100 g/l.
