Liquid crystalline waterproofing admixture
Flocrete WP-L Crystal is a liquid waterproofing admixture specially designed to reduce the permeability in all cement based mortars, screeds, and concrete. Flocrete WP-L Crystal activates a crystalline reaction in order to generate non-soluble crystals.
This provides a permanent and durable crystalline system by blocking the natural pores in the mix during the active hydration of cement particles which reduces moisture permeability.
The crystal formation becomes an integral part of the cement matrix allowing concrete to self-heal hairline shrinkage cracks when exposed to moisture.
The concrete admixed with Flocrete WP-L Crystal becomes permanently sealed against water penetration from all sides of negative and positive water pressure.
The advanced waterproofing properties of Flocrete WP-L Crystal also protect reinforcement against corrosion, increasing the durability and life span of concrete.

Flocrete WP-L Crystal is available in 25 litre pails, 210 litre drums and 1000 litre bulk supply.
Flocrete WP-L Crystal has a shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture if stored protect from heat, freezing and direct sunlight at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C.
The recommended dosage of Flocrete WP-L Crystal ranges from 1 - 4 kg per 100 kg of cementitious materials in the mix.
Representative trials should be conducted to determine the optimum dosage of Flocrete WP-L Crystal and to adjust the required mixing water to meet the performance requirements by using the materials and conditions on actual use.
