Strongcoat TX
Texture extender additive
Strongcoat TX is a highly efficient thixotropic fibrous additive consisting of very fine, high density polyethylene fibres. It is used as a texture extender and thickening agent for various resinous systems.
Strongcoat TX is ready for onsite mixing and use allowing for texture adjustment of resin flooring products.

Strongcoat TX is used as a thixotropic agent for liquids and pastes based on epoxy, polyester, polyurethane, bitumen, or PVC, such as:
- Coatings.
- Adhesives.
- Putties.
- Sealants.
Strongcoat TX is available in 10 kg packs.
Store in a dry area out of direct sunlight at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C.
Strongcoat TX has a shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture if stored in its original sealed bags. Once pack is opened it needs to be resealed and consumed within 6 months.
The recommended dosage of Strongcoat TX is 0.25 – 1.00% by weight depending on the needed finish and texture.
Representative trials should be conducted to determine the optimum dosage of Strongcoat TX along with the roller to be used in order to meet the texture required.
