Flocrete SP5000
Cold weather concreting admixture
Flocrete SP5000 is a multi-component, high performance concrete additive in liquid form for producing high quality
concrete at very low temperatures. Flocrete SP5000 is chloride free.
Flocrete SP5000 provides for the following:
- Improved workability without increased water content.
- High reduction in water without loss of workability.
- Increased frost resistance.
- Improved early and long term strengths.
- Chloride free - does not attack reinforcement.
Flocrete SP5000 is recommended for use in conditions such as:
- Concrete casting at low temperatures.
- Expected overnight frost.
- Early concrete strength requirements.
- High strength concrete.
- Can be used as a sole additive to achieve required concrete performance at very low temperatures.
Flocrete SP5000 is available in 25 & 210 litres drums, and 1000 litres containers.
Store in dry conditions.
Flocrete SP5000 has a minimum shelf life of 12 months if stored properly in its original unopened packing.
Dosage of Flocrete SP5000 will vary depending on cement content and outside temperature. Required dosage
should be determined for each case.
Typical dosage is between 1 - 2% of cement content. Dosages outside the typical range given above may be
used to meet particular requirements.
Flocrete SP5000 complies with the following specifications:
- EN934-2.
- BS5075.
- ASTM C494, Type C and E .
