Donseal GA777-AC
General purpose, water based, acoustical and fire stopping acrylic sealant
Donseal GA777-AC is a one-part, water based, acoustical, and fire stopping acrylic sealant that cures on exposure to the atmosphere to form a durable and flexible seal.
Donseal GA777-AC can be used as a fire-resistant sealant providing up to 3 hours fire resistance, preventing the passage of fire, smoke and toxic fumes when used in joints between wall and ceilings “Wall Masonry Linear Joints Seal” systems and backed by rock-wool with a minimum
density of 150 kg/m³.
Donseal GA777-AC acoustical properties allows it to reduce sound transmission and improve STC ratings in many types of wall and partition systems by sealing the areas around cut- outs and at the perimeters of partitions. Donseal GA777-AC provides enhanced adhesion and does not need a primer when applied to concrete, masonry, stone, marble and aluminum surfaces, making it an ideal solution for many interior and exterior sealing applications.

Donseal GA777-AC can be used as a fire stopping sealant in Wall Masonry Linear Joints Seal systems. Donseal GA777-AC can also be used for sealing joints in the building industry in many applications such as:
- Concrete, wood, anodized aluminum, blockwork, marble and natural stone.
- Around windows and door frames.
- Cladding panels.
- Galvanized metal sheets.
- Perimeter Joints.
- Wall penetrations in gypsum or plaster.
- Openings for electrical boxes, pipes, duct systems, and cutouts.
Also, it can be used as an adhesive to fix lightweight building materials (An adhesion test is recommended before use).
Donseal GA777-AC is available in 280 ml cartridges and 20 kg buckets.
Store in a dry and cool conditions away from humidity.
Donseal GA777-AC has a shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture in original unopened package away from humidity.
Donseal GA777-AC complies with:
- ASTM C834, Type OP, Grade NF.
- Tested according to BS EN ISO 140-3 and classified as per BS EN ISO 717-1 for acoustical properties.
- Firestop tested for “Wall Masonry Linear Joints Seal” applications for up to 3 hours in accordance with BS EN 1366-4, BS EN 1364-1, BS EN 1363-1.
