Flocrete® SP5000MW
Cold weather concreting admixture
Flocrete SP5000MW is a multi-component, high performance concrete additive in liquid form for producing high quality concrete at very low temperatures. Flocrete SP5000MW is chloride free.
Flocrete SP5000MW provides for the following:
- Improved workability without increased water content.
- High reduction in water without loss of workability.
- Increased frost resistance.
- Improved early and long term strengths.
- Chloride free - does not attack reinforcement.
Flocrete SP5000MW is recommended for use in conditions such as:
- Concrete casting at low temperatures.
- Expected overnight frost.
- Early concrete strength requirements.
- High strength concrete.
- Can be used as a sole additive to achieve required concrete performance at very low temperatures.
Flocrete SP5000MW is available in 1000 litre.
Store in dry conditions. Flocrete SP5000MW has a minimum shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture if stored properly in its original unopened packing.
Dosage of Flocrete SP5000MW will vary depending on cement content and outside temperature. Required dosage should be determined for each case. Typical dosage is between 0.3 - 1.5 kg per 100 cement.
Dosages outside the typical range given above may be used to meet particular requirements.

Flocrete SP5000MW complies with ASTM C494, Type E, EN 934-2,Table 3.1, 3.2 & 7 and BS 5075.
