Strongcoat TC Primer
Epoxy-based primer for use with Strongcoat EP Coving Mortar
Strongcoat TC Primer is a two-pack, solvent free, epoxy based primer ideally used to prime surfaces prior to applying Strongcoat EP Coving Mortar. Because it is primarily used for coving, this primer can be applied both horizontally and vertically, ensuring excellent adhesion and preparation of surfaces for subsequent coatings.
Strongcoat TC Primer is used as a prime coat to aid improving adhesion of the subsequent Strongcoat EP Coving Mortar coating. One or two coats should be applied depending on the surfaces’ porosity.
Approximately 5 m²/kg per coat at 200 microns per coat.
Important: This coverage figure is based on application to a smooth dense surface. Coverage figures will vary according to the texture, porosity and evenness of the surface on which the Strongcoat TC Primer is being applied.
Strongcoat TC Primer is available in 5 kg kits.
Store at temperatures between 5°C and 40°C.
Strongcoat TC Primer has a shelf life of approximately 18 months if stored in unopened containers and under good conditions.
