Sethard S is a concentrated, clear, liquid surface hardener and dust proofer designed for application to concrete and other cementitious floors. Sethard S is based on an aqueous solution of sodium silicate and wetting agents to enhance surface penetration.
Sethard S is mixed with water and applied to concrete surfaces. Use of Sethard S will increase abrasion resistance and reduce dusting of concrete surfaces.
Sethard S is recommended for new and old cementitious surfaces, such as concrete floors and granolithic paving. It should not be used to renovate concrete which is already disintegrating. Typical applications include:
- Factories.
- Warehouses.
- Garages.
Approximately 300 - 400 ft²/gal (7.3 - 9.8 m²/litre) per coat, depending on the texture and absorption characteristics of the surface.
Sethard S is available in 5 gal (18.9 litre) pails and 55 gal (208.2 litre) drums.
