Setseal AW309 Plus
High solid, multipurpose water based acrylic curing compounds and sealer
Setseal AW309 Plus is a single component, acrylic resin based curing compound and sealer designed to impregnate freshly finished concrete surfaces combining the benefits of a curing compound, hardener and sealer.
Setseal AW309 Plus dries to produce a UV resistant, durable, clear film on concrete, which makes it ideal for interior and exterior use.
Setseal AW309 Plus is designed to overcome drawbacks of many commonly used curing membranes that tend to provide a limited service life following the curing period of new concrete. It has good abrasion resistance and is compatible with several types of coatings

Setseal AW309 Plus is mainly used for newly cast concrete and cementitious surfaces that contain GGBFS, PFA, microsilica, dry shake hardeners or limestone to retain sufficient moisture to ensure full hydration of the cement.
Typical application areas include:
- High rise construction to eliminate water curing.
- Runways and roads.
- Roof decks.
- Retaining walls.
- Irrigation canals.
- General floor slab and columns.
For use as a curing compound in accordance with ASTM C309, the recommended coverage rate is 3 - 5 m²/litre applied in one coat.
For use as curing and sealing compound in accordance with ASTM C1315, the recommend application is 7.4 m²/litre/ coat, applied in two coats.
Setseal AW309 Plus is available in 25 litre jerrycan and 200 litre drums.
Store in a dry area out of direct sunlight between 5°C and 35°C.
Setseal AW309 Plus has a shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture if stored in proper conditions in unopened drums.
Setseal AW309 Plus complies with ASTM C309, Type I, Class A & B & ASTM C1315, Type I, Class A when applied at the recommended coverage rates.
