Hyperseal DP-2010H

High performance hydrophilic waterstops for use with fresh and sea water

Hyperseal DP-2010H is made of bentonite free high performance polymer modified chloroprene rubber strips. The swelling action is the result between water (fresh or saline) and hydrophilic groups which are part of the Hyperseal DP-2010H molecular structure.

Expansion of the waterstop creates a positive seal against the face of the concrete joint and prevents the water entry into the structure through the protected joint.

Advantages
  • Active protection- Hyperseal DP-2010H hydrophilic waterstop swells in contact with both fresh water and saline (sea) water to form an effective compression joint
  • Slow expansion rate to prevent damage to freshly placed concrete during curing.
  • Retains original shape after repeated expansion and contraction.
  • Resistant against fuel haydrocaron spillages.
Applications

Hydrophilic waterstop can be applied against existing concrete and are simply installed by nailing or using a hydrophilic adhesive. In contact with water, hydrophilic strips react and swell by up to 150% of their original dimensions to form a compression seal.
