Expansion of Prophet Mosque, Al-Madina

As a part of the foundation work in the largest expansion project of Prophet Mosque in Al-Madina that has been started on April, 2015 and aims to increase the total capacity of the Mosque to 1,800,000 people, the treatment of piles head represented a major challenge for those in charge of this project.

Pile head treatment shall be conducted using a flowable, high performance micro-concrete that characterized with very fast strength development rate and exceptional ultimate compressive strength.

DCP Saudi technical team has submitted Cempatch FL Range for this task. Cempatch FL Range is a high performance, shrinkage compensated free flowing micro-concrete composed of a blend of cement, dry powders and selected aggregates which when mixed with water produce a self-compacting and free flowing micro-concrete suitable for large volume concrete repairs.

Cempatch FL Range is available in three grades, Cempatch FL Std and Cempatch FL90 which are applicable for repair void thicknesses between 50 and 200 mm and Cempatch FL100 which is applicable for thicknesses between 50 to 400 mm.
