Griptop® UVR Seal
Glossy, UV resistant polyurethane sealer
Griptop UVR Seal is a non-yellowing, two-component, flexible polyurethane sealer designed to protect and seal Cemflow, Strongcoat and Griptop flooring systems from DCP.
Griptop UVR Seal cures to provide a seamless, hardwearing, tough and resilient coating that is suitable for the protection of concrete floors subject to medium duty traffic such as regular foot traffic, frequent fork lift truck traffic, occasional hard plastic-wheeled trolleys.
Griptop UVR Seal can be applied to concrete surfaces, polymer modified cementitious screeds, epoxy and polyurethane flooring systems, steel, and some asphaltic surfaces, providing a hygienic and durable floor. The application of Griptop UVR Seal helps to protect the floor surface and ease maintenance by reducing the adhesion of dirt and other debris, whilst eliminating dusting.

Griptop UVR Seal is designed to seal a variety of Cemflow, Strongcoat and Griptop flooring systems, as well as screeds in the following:
- Retail spaces such as stores and showrooms.
- Health care facilities such as hospitals and clinics.
- Business facilities such as offices and lobbies.
- Museums, theatres and shopping malls.
- Educational premises such as universities, schools and colleges.
- Industrial facilities such as warehouses, production, maintenance and assembly areas.
The typical coverage of Griptop UVR Seal is approximately 0.4 kg/m² per coat to achieve a dry film thickness between 250 microns per coat. Two coats are required, typically 250 microns per coat.
Note: Coverage rates are approximate and will vary according to the wastage factors and the type, condition, profile, and porosity of the substrate.
Griptop UVR Seal is available in 5 kg and 10 kg kits.
Griptop UVR Seal has a shelf life of 6 months from date of manufacture if stored off the ground in un-opened packs and under cover at temperatures between 10oC and 30oC in a dry store, out of direct sunlight. Protect from frost.
Griptop UVR Seal complies with BS 8204-6, Type 3.
