Bituproof FLX is a water based bitumen waterproof coating modified with acrylic polymers, formulated from selected raw materials to form a high build elastomeric waterproof and protective coating for concrete and masonry.

- One component – ready to use.
- Elastomeric will bridge minor cracks which may occur in concrete substrates.
- Extremely high elongation.
- Excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates.
- Resists attack by chloride and sulphate ions present in ground water.
- Solvent free, nonflammable.
- Asbestos free.
- Rot resistant.
- Contains high rubber content.
Bituproof FLX provides a waterproof coating for:
- Retaining walls.
- Foundations and basements.
- Wet areas (Under Tiles).
- Repairs of existing bitumen surfaces and membranes.
- Shaded or tiled roofs.
- 3 - 5 m²/litre per coat, as protective coating.
- 1 - 1.5 m²/litre per coat, as waterproof coating giving a dry film thickness of 500 microns per coat. Two coats recommended.
Bituproof FLX is available in 18 and 200 litre drums.
Bituproof FLX has a shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture if stored at temperatures between 5⁰C and 40⁰C.
Store away from direct sunlight, and protect from freezing.
- Bituproof FLX matches the physical properties of ASTM D1227-13, Type II, Class 1.
- Bituproof FLX complies with ASTM C309 as a curing compound when applied with two coats at a rate of 4 m²/litre per coat.
